Hallo alle sammen!

Jeg reiser til Norge den 21. desember for å feire jul sammen med mormor og bestefar. Jeg gleder meg veldig og håper jeg får se masse snø min første jul! Her i Southampton har vi hatt mange forberedelser til julen. Jeg har bakt pepperkaker sammen med mamma og Farrah, og jeg har allerede vært på min første juletrefest. På juletrefesten var det en stor tykk mann med rød kåpe og langt hvitt skjegg. Han var kjempeskummel og jeg likte han ikke noe særlig...

Hello everybody!

I'm travelling to Norway on the 21st of December to celebrate Christmas with my Norwegian grandparents. I'm really exited and I hope I get to see lots of snow my first Christmas! We have started to prepare for Christmas here in Southampton. I've been baking gingerbread men with mummy and Farrah, and I've already been to a Christmas party. At the party there was a big fat man with a long red robe and a long white beard. He was really scary and I didn't like him much...

8 måneder / 8 months

Hello again everone!
The months fly by and I'm changing so much! I'm nearly 9 kg, I have three teeth and I have mastered the skill of crawling to perfection. It doesn't take me long to escape the grownups in the pursuit of climbing furniture!

Månedene flyr av gårde og jeg forandrer meg hele tiden. Jeg veier nesten 9 kg, jeg har tre tenner og jeg er en super krabber. Det tar ikke lang tid å rømme fra de voksne så jeg kan klatre på møblene!

It’s fun exploring the living room by cruising the furniture. I've fallen back and hurt my head a few times but I suppose I have to learn the hard way!

Det er morsomt å utforske stua ved å balansere på møblene. Jeg har dettet bakover noen ganger og da gjør det vondt i hodet mitt, men det er vel sånn man lærer!

Hei alle sammen!
Se så stor jeg har blitt! Mamma og pappa har kjøpt lekegrind for å holde orden på meg. Jeg koser meg der sammen med alle lekene mine. Jeg kan rulle rundt så mye jeg vil uten at jeg slår meg.

See how big I am! Mummy and daddy has bought me a playpen to keep me safe. I enjoy staying there with all my toys. I can roll around all I want without getting hurt.

Nå når mamma har begynt a jobbe blir jeg passet av farmor på dagen. Vi har det kjempegøy sammen og leker hele tiden. Farmor synger masse for meg også går vi tur med Missy.

Now that mummy has gone back to work my nan is looking after me during the day. We have so much fun together and play all the time. Nanny sings to me a lot and we love going for walks with Missy.

Sommerferie i Norge / Summer holiday in Norway

Jeg har endelig fått litt sommerferie for det er så slitsomt å være baby! Jeg dro til Norge og fikk besøkt både hytta i Valdres, slekt og venner i Moss og fikk være en del på Kolbotn. Jeg hadde det veldig hyggelig. Tusen takk for alle gavene jeg fikk!

Finally I've managed to have some Summer Holiday as it is hard work being a baby! I went to Norway and managed to visit the cabin in Valdres, friends and relatives in Moss and we stayed at Kolbotn for a while. I had a lovely time. Thanks for all the presents!

Jeg var så heldig å bli invitert i Kasper's 2-års lag. Der fikk jeg også treffe fetterne hans, Hauk og Hilmar. Senere kom Janka og Kasper på besøk til meg på Kolbotn.

I was invited to Kasper's 2-year birthday party. I also met his cousins Hauk and Hilmar. Later Janka and Kasper visited me at Kolbotn.


Jeg besøkte Mari, Heidi og Thomas i Moss. Mari har blitt kjempestor og er ett år gammel! Hun likte ikke at jeg lekte med grisen hennes og ville sloss! ;-)

I went to see Mari, Heidi and Thomas in Moss. Mari is really big and is one year old. She didn't like that I played with her pig and wanted to fight! ;-)


Joachim og jeg er ganske skumle fotball hooligans i våre England caps! Sammen med onkel Are.

Siste dagen i Norge fikk jeg masse besøk. Siv, Roy og Matthias kom helt fra Tønsberg.

On my last day in Norway I got lots of visitors. Siv, Roy and Matthias came all the way from Tønsberg.

COME ON ENGLAND! (I would support Norway as well if only they had qualified for the World Cup)

I love Missy. Her fur is lovely and she doesn't mind if I pull it!



Now that I'm big enough to sit at the table, does that mean that I can have some beer?

JUNE 2006

Hello again everybody! Summer is here but where's the sun? Never mind, I don't really care about the wheather, as long as my belly is full I am quite ok!

How is it possible to crawl? I don't understand how it is possible to move legs and arms at the same time? I think I will continue moving just one limb at the time...

This weekend my grandparents from Norway came for a visit. Farrah and mormor is reading me a story about snowhite. Maybe I will be a princess one day?

SPRING 2006 / VÅR 2006

Look, all the bluebells are out. We've been for a lovely walk in the woods with Missy.

Farrah has had her face painted in the park. I love looking at it, but eating comes first!

I'm a happy bunny today! All smiles...

Happy Easter / God Påske!

I'm now 7 weeks old and I have started to smile and giggle. I am quite a chatterbox and my favourite word is koo-kooooooo-koooooooooooooooooo.
My parents have now officilly "given up" and given me a dummy. I knew I would win in the end. He he he...My first Easter and I've got a massive Easter egg! Shame that I can't eat chocholate yet... Oh well, I'm sure mummy will help me eat it...

Five weeks

I'm now 5 weeks old!

Both me and my mum are doing really well! I'm putting on lots of weight (4.26 kg) and all my newborn clothes are too small!

I also having lots of visitors which is great, because I like getting presents. Two weeks ago, my grandparents came over from Norway and we had a really nice time. I miss them very much and can't wait to go to Norway to visit them. I just need to get a passport first...

Daddy is trying to make me shut up without much luck. I'm good most of the time, really...


When my grandparents from Norway came for a visit we went for a walk in Kingley Vale on the South Downs. It was my first proper walk, and my dad got lots of excercise pushing the pram up some steep hills!
